Laminar Flow Elements – series 50M of Meriam
The Laminar Flow Elements of the series 50M by Meriam Process Technologies cover a large measuring range. Four basis series of LFEs with different diameters are available with measuring range final values of 5 cm³/min up to 64 m³/min (air).
The differential pressure occurring on the Laminar Flow Element is 10 or 20 mbar depending on the series at nominal flow final value and it can be neglected in any case in the system. With sensitive tasks in regard of pressure drop the LFEs can only be used with a maximum differential pressure up to 1 mbar and a correspondingly reduced flow final value.

By using the PDP sensor very compact test section designs can be implemented.
