Electrical pressure sensors

For precise flow measurements of differential pressure methods it is necessary to measure the differential pressure above the flow element exactly. In addition, the static pressure, temperature and, if necessary, air humidity should be recorded for an accurate determination of the density of the medium.

For this we offer – depending on the tasks – different types with different measuring ranges for pressure and differential pressure as single sensors, and also the combined pressure/differential pressure sensor PDP. High precision, fast response time and, first of all, overload resistance which is fundamental in practice, are important selection criteria.

PDP – Combined pressure sensor

Sensors of the series PDP are combined sensors for differential pressure and static pressure. They are particularly suitable for flow measurement with Laminar Flow Elements in connection with the S320 Controller for signal conditioning.

PDP combined pressure sensors have an extremely overload capacitive differential pressure measuring cell as well as a piezoresistive sensor for static pressure. The capacitive differential pressure cell and the piezoresistive pressure sensor in the PDP sensor stand out thanks to very fast response times, very good reproducibility, low hysteresis and good zero point stability.

DPS.flange: analog differential pressure sensor

The DPS.flange is a purely analog differential pressure sensor and offers exceptional features in a practical flange housing. This ensures process-safe tightness in the adaptation of the sensor. The high overload resistance and the extremely fast reaction to pressure changes, as well as the reduced internal volume make it particularly interesting for leak test applications.
