Calibration of temperature sensors

Temperature measurement is one of the most important components for successful volume flow measurement.
Hardly any other variable has more far-reaching physical consequences on a volume flow measurement than temperature.
Particularly in leakage test measurements using the pressure drop method, temperature is a constant thorn in the side of every user, as even the smallest temperature changes can distort a measurement by several orders of magnitude.
Temperature calibrations at TetraTec Instruments take place in a water bath between 0 and 90 °C. Therefore, only LABS-free sensors can be calibrated.
Measuring ranges for temperature calibration
measurement quantity | measurement range (accredited) | calibration standard | traceability |
---|---|---|---|
Temperature | In Lab: -40 to 130 °C (0 - 90 °C) On Site: 5 bis 90 °C (20 - 50 °C) |
Resistance thermometer, water bath | DAkkS, house procedure |
Here you find information on the possible measurement ranges for DAkkS-accredited calibrations and factory calibrations.
