For precise flow measurements, it is also necessary to accurately determine the temperature of the medium. When air is the medium, the relative humidity should be measured and determined in addition to the temperature. This allows for a more accurate determination of the air density.

For this purpose, we offer various sensors depending on the task at hand, e.g., pure temperature sensors such as the WIT-S model, but also the combined temperature and humidity sensor HUMTMP. High precision, fast response time, and, above all, the practically crucial easy interchangeability are essential selection criteria.

WIT-S Temperature Sensor

The WIT-S resistance temperature sensor enables precise temperature measurement in the range of –30 to +80 °C. It is available in various accuracy classes as well as housing and connection variants. The probe version offers flexible immersion depths, while the screw-in version impresses with its compact and robust design.

The WIT-S temperature sensor with Pt100 element is made entirely of stainless steel in a robust probe design. In addition to the probe version, it is also available as a practical screw-in sensor. The Pt100 resistance element is located at the tip of the probe tube, while a connector for four-wire connection is attached at the other end.

HUMTMP – Humidity/Temperature Sensor

The models of the HUMTMP series combine sensors for measuring temperature and humidity in one device.

The sensor is suitable for pressures up to 16 bar and is equipped with a G1/2″ screw-in thread for mounting. The Pt100 resistance element and the capacitive humidity sensor are directly exposed to the medium. A glass feedthrough separates the electronics from the sensors. The sensors are protected from high flow speeds and particles by a filter cap made of plastic or stainless steel sinter.
