Laminar Flow Elements
Laminar flow elements (LFE) measure the flow of air or gas quickly and accurately. Available in a wide range and many gradations, they are the right choice for a wide variety of applications in flow measurement and calibration with air or gases.
The differential pressure occurring at the laminar flow element is 10 or 20 mbar at nominal final flow value, depending on the series. For sensitive tasks with regard to pressure loss, the LFEs can also be used with a maximum differential pressure of up to 1 mbar with a corresponding linear reduction in the final flow rate.

Main Features
- Stable measurement of very small quantities
- Gas applications possible with glass capillary (O2, H2, CO2…)
- TTI differential pressure sensor can be directly flange-mounted
- Inlet/outlet sections without diameter jump
LFE S-Series
The S-series laminar flow elements from our own production cover a wide scale of measuring ranges. With measuring capacities ranging from 0.5 cm³/min to 1.0 m³/min (air), LFEs are available in six different nominal widths.
The S-series in square design is the most compact type of laminar flow element in our portfolio. In addition to the small design, the LFE can be equipped with either a precise and customised glass capillary or a multi-channel stainless steel matrix. Depending on the area of application, both options are advantageous.

LFE R-Series
The R-series extends the flow range up to 63 m³ /min. with a round design. The inlet/outlet paths of the LFEs are simultaneously used as a reduction to the desired tube diameter.
The R-series is capable of ensuring clean and highly reproducible results, even in high-pressure applications. It is also possible to use the largest structural form in foreign gas applications.

LFE F-Series
The F-series plays in the same flow area as the R-series, but it has expanded the structure with suitable inlet and outlet filters, which make a pollution-free operation possible over the years.
The LFE of the F-series can also be operated inline if required. For this purpose, large tons are pushed over the filter heads and screwed together with the LFE base. This makes it easy to use in a variety of situations.

LFE T-Series
The T-Series is another addition to the R- and F-Series, but it is specifically designed for inline operation of filter-protected LFEs with a high measurement range.
If inline measurements with dust- and dirt-laden air or bidirectional operation of a flow measurement with large volume flows are required, then an LFE from the T-Series is the solution. Based on the flow sizes of the R-Series, this series has dual particle filters and precisely designed filter barrels with flange or pipe connections for low-maintenance and leak-free inline volume flow measurements.
