Certifications

TÜV Rheinland

TetraTec Instruments GmbH is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 for the development, manufacture and sales of measuring instruments for pressure, flow and leaks as well as for its calibration services by TÜV Rheinland.

Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle

The calibration laboratory at TetraTec Instruments has been certified as competent in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17025 to perform calibrations for the flow measurements of gases and for the volume and mass of flowing gases.

Our calibration laboratory is accredited by the German Accreditation Office (DAkkS).

Guarantees and Returns

We provide a standard one-year warranty on our measurement technology. This warranty covers material and workmanship defects and begins from the date of purchase.

Please note that due to the custom manufacturing of our products, exchanges and returns are excluded. However, we are always committed to providing you with the best possible service and are happy to assist you with any questions or issues.


Loan Devices and Availability Information

Loan Devices:

We offer loan devices for all areas. These can be provided at a daily flat rate after consultation. Our loan devices are available to meet your needs during peak times or to fulfill temporary requirements.

Availability Information:

  • Calibration Orders: The usual delivery time for calibration orders is approximately 3 weeks. Please note that as a flow-through lab, we do not assign specific dates.
  • Measurement Systems: These can be built, calibrated, and delivered within 8 to 12 weeks.
  • Larger Test Stands: Delivery times for larger test stands are agreed upon individually.

German Accreditation Body (DAkkS)

The German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) is the national accreditation authority of Germany and plays a crucial role in quality assurance. It assesses and monitors testing, inspection, and certification bodies to ensure they operate according to internationally recognized standards. Through accreditation by DAkkS, these conformity assessment bodies receive an official seal of their competence. This strengthens confidence in their services and products, which is particularly important in international trade.

German Calibration Service (DKD)

Unlike DAkkS, the German Calibration Service (DKD) is a technical committee specializing in the calibration of measuring instruments. Originally, the DKD was the central institution for calibration issues in Germany. Today, it operates under the umbrella of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) as a forum for exchange between calibration laboratories, industry, and science. The DKD develops guidelines and promotes the transfer of knowledge to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurements.

The main difference between DAkkS and DKD lies in their areas of responsibility: While DAkkS, as an official body, carries out the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies and confirms their competence, DKD focuses on professional support and networking in the field of calibration. However, both institutions work together to ensure high-quality standards in Germany and promote the international recognition of German measurement and testing services.

You will receive an F-number for your service case, which you should include in all subsequent communications to ensure a quick assignment of your case.

If you are interested in individual or regular maintenance or calibration contracts, please contact us here. We will then discuss the scope and interval times of the necessary or recommended calibrations and maintenance according to the requirements of your systems.

Terms of Supply, Service and Purchase

General conditions for supply orders

For supply orders apply the general conditions for the supply along with the supplementary clause „extended retention of title“ and software clause. These are recommended by ZVEI e.V. (German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers‘ Association).

Terms of Service and Repair

For service, installation, and repair orders, as well as for warranty claims, the service conditions of TetraTec Instruments are valid in the currently published version. Specifically, for all types of returns and services, the risk transfer is determined EXW Steinenbronn. This means that travel expenses, as well as shipment expenses, must be borne by the client, even if the original supply arrangement was different.
