Precise flow measuring often needs the consideration of the temperature and the humidity influence. The HUMTMP sensor provides an elegant solution combining a temperature sensor and a humidity probe in one device. The sensor is available with light plastic or with strong stainless steel filter cap.

Note:
The flow velocity cross the sensor head must not exceed 40 m/s.
Due to the function principle, humidity sensors are affected by ageing. So, from time to time they should be re-calibrated or exchanged.

The WIT-S temperature sensor in the socket version working with a Pt100 RTD element is made of stainless steel. It is available for a threaded or a insertion mounting. The top of the sensor contains a Pt100 RTD element of the accuracy class A or AA. On the other side the electrical socket for four wire technic is placed.
The sensor for insertion mounting can be fixed into a pipe with a compression fitting with a G1/8" to G1/2" male thread. The variable insertion depth makes this sensor the appropriate choice for pipes up to DN 500.
The WIT-S sensor for threaded mounting is also constructed for pipe diameters up to DN 500. With the integrated G1/4" or G1/2" thread one can mount it directly into threaded taps of a pipe or into suitable sensor blocs.

A special version for shorter response time is available for the insertion type with a slotted sensor top (response: T(99%) approx. 25 sec.)

The compact WIT-K model with a fixed cable on the sensor for threaded mounting offers an easy and elegant way to measure temperatures on a pipe. The sensor is made out of stainless steel, the top contains the Pt100 RTD element of the class A or AA and a straight male thread is machined around the body. The sensor is completed by a four-wire shielded cable fixed to the sensor (approx. 2,5 meter long) with free wire ends.

With a M5 thread it is possible to simply install the sensor onto a pipe without the need of any adapter, tee fitting or similar.(Just make a 4 mm bore into the pipe, plain a surface of approx. 12 mm x12mm, drill the M5 thread, install the sensor - ready!)
